Ingredients
1/2 c diced onions
1 clove garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
1 lb ground meat (beef, turkey, venison)
1 lb ground Italian sausage (optional)
1-2 jars spaghetti sauce (14 oz each) (choose your favorite!)
1-2 cans diced tomatoes (14 oz each)
1 tub Ricotta cheese (32 oz)
1 tub Cottage cheese (24 oz)
1 bag shredded Mozzerella cheese (2 cups)
1 box lasagna noodles- uncooked.
Directions
Saute' onions and garlic in butter until clear.
Add all meat and brown. Remove from heat.
Add in spaghetti sauce and diced tomatoes.
In a mixing bowl, combine Ricotta, Cottage, and Mozzerella cheeses.
In your slow cooker, pour a layer of the meat sauce in the bottom. Cover with lasagna noodles, broken up to fit. Cover this layer with the cheese mixture. Repeat until crock pot is full.
Cover and turn pot on LOW for 4-5 hours.
