Long Time No Post

I hate taking big gaps between my posts. I really do. There's generally one of 3 reasons why I do.
1) Too busy to think about posting.
2) Nothing to talk about
3) Don't have my password memorized so if I'm not on my old laptop I can't log in. Thank you Firefox for remembering all my passwords for me so I can be dumb and lazy.

But, alas, I finally got my password changed and am able to post from my new laptop now.

Speaking of new computers.
My desktop DIED today. Like... DEAD. It was having some problems, and then it decided to work itself out. Then today I tried to turn it on. At first it did nothing. So I turned it off, and turned it back on. It came on, looked and acted normal, and next time I looked at it, the screen had turned black and there was something written across the top that said something like "boot error, hard drive can not load" or something. I turned it off and turned it back on... and now it just beeps at me. Like a long 5 second beep, then a 3 second break, then a 5 second beep, then a 3 second break.... and on and on and on til I unplug the sucker.
6 months ago I wouldn't mind so much. But that desktop had become my embroidery computer! And now that I can't find my camera cable, I had to use it to put my SD card into it to get the pictures off of it. Neither of my laptops have SD ports. LAME. I'm hoping I can take it up to the computer place up here and at least get my files off of it. It's just over 3 years old, and didn't cost me much, so I guess it's high time to upgrade. It just frustrates me.

We went to Mount Rushmore last week for a 4 day field trip. I'll make a separate post about that- it was SO awesome... but I gotta figure out how to get my pics of my camera so I can share them.
