SCHOOL!

Like many families, it's that time of year!!
Time for school!


I have a 3rd grader and a Kindergartner this year. And I'm scared to death!

It never gets easier. I never get more organized.
BUT, Sissy is reading SO well. I am SOOO proud of her. And even Bub can read some words. He learns by memorization, so this should be interesting, since it's the complete opposite of me.

Sissy has already jumped right into history. Today we learned a little bit about George Washington. We branched out of that and touched a tiny bit on government structure, but tried to remain focused on President Washington. Over the next couple of weeks we'll be learning about him, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt, and then by Halloween we'll be going to Mount Rushmore!
So, I'm pretty excited about that.

I'm still working on the 'interruptions'... but hopefully I'll get it figured out by, oh, next May. :)
